Our Founder
Letter from the Founder
Every child deserves to know they are valued.
Yet every day, children and young adults experiencing life’s transitions carry everything they own in black trash bags. While practical, those bags often symbolize something
much deeper—the loss of dignity during one of life’s most difficult moments.
That reality inspired the creation of Carrying Love Foundation.
Our mission is simple: to restore dignity, inspire hope, and remind every child and young adult that they are seen, valued, and worthy of respect. Through partnerships with churches, businesses, schools, civic organizations, and compassionate individuals, we replace trash bags with suitcases and uncertainty with hope.
Through The Hope Initiative, community-hosted Hope Drives provide new and gently loved suitcases to children and young adults experiencing foster care transitions. Every suitcase represents more than a way to carry belongings—it represents dignity, hope, and the promise of a brighter tomorrow.
